I am committed to the preservation and promotion of Filipino culture through community events, cultural education, and charitable initiatives. My goal is to continue fostering unity and meaningful connections within the Filipino American community and beyond. Through my work with the organization, I strive to create opportunities that honor heritage, encourage volunteerism, and support future generations. I believe in the true spirit of bayanihan — coming together to uplift and support one another.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Austin Peay State University, where I developed a strong passion for helping others and building community connections. I currently serve as the Volunteer Coordinator for the group, organizing outreach efforts and supporting members as we work together to make a positive impact.

I’m Denida Coleman, Secretary of Bayanihan Filipino American Group Inc. and Quality Assurance Technician at Multi Color Corporation, I'm driven by a passion for volunteering and community service, inspiring positive change.

Maria Twine, Treasurer

La Salle College, Philippines Bachelor of Science (B.S.C.) U.S. Army Veteran & Federal Employee (Retired) Served honorably as a 75C Personnel Management Specialist in the U.S. Army. Continued service as a Federal Employee before retirement, bringing years of dedication, discipline, and leadership experience from both military and civilian roles.

Phillip Daniel Shumate, Public Relation Officer

I spent four years in Marine Corps, I like fishing , gardening, dancing, playing the piano, I like spending time with family and friends.

Leticia Roman, Public Relation Officer

Retired, currently employed part-time at the Commissary as a contract worker with the Trace Company.

Angelina Hudson, Public Relation Officer

Is a freelancer passionate about helping people. As an agent with Debtmerica and Optima Tax Relief, she assists families in securing and protecting their financial futures. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and friends, watching movies, and reading books.

Rose McFarland, Public Relation Officer

Bachelor’s in Nursing, Angeles University Foundation (Top 10 Graduate, 1985 Board Exam Top 20). Sponsored by California to work in the U.S. (1988); passed CA Board Exam in Sacramento (1989). With DOD/DHA since 1998. Married to Vaschon R. McFarland; two married sons and one granddaughter. Former Fil-Am PRO, Secretary, VP, and President.

Delia Clark, Public Relation Officer

Proud product of Lasallian missions in the Philippines, was the first Filipina married at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Dover, TN. A devoted church volunteer, she has served as a Pastoral Council and Ministry Chair. She is married to a retired U.S. Navy veteran.
